The rain forests of Cambodia and the animals that live in and around them are under threat of extinction. The deforestation caused by logging could result in some of the world's most beautiful animals disappearing from planet earth.
Charities are trying to save the forests from destruction. The small band of Forest Rangers do what they can.
The "Forest Ranger" book was written with hope that a few more people will want to stop the rain forests of Cambodia being destroyed. 25% of any revenues receive by the author will be donated to charities dedicated to protecting the Cambodian rain forests.
I had the idea for the book after a conversation with a friend a few years ago who, at the time, was working for a charity dedicated to saving the Cambodian rain forest. In 2010 I decided to get the book written and I illustrated the animals myself. All of the animals are native to Cambodia.
